"Ninety miles an hour, girl, is the speed I drive"...a line from Crosstown Traffic by Jimi Hendrix was adapted to name this awesome live registration of a gig by the RHCP in 1991, but it only just came out in march of 2021.
A true pearl from the past.
If you are deeply in love with a band as I am with them, new versions of their music is a treat beyond belief.
Every note is consumed with deep care, every bass-tone felt in yer bones, every familiar rhythm celebrated as new and each and every inflection in Anthony's voice is revered.
And this one delivers, bigtime!
Its raw and real, its one of those shows where they seem to be one big wild creature, all hands, feet, heart and soul connected pumping and coming in hard!
Its pure energy, sheer fun, love and zest for life.
They truly do give it away.
One love.
Grateful for Red Hot Chili Peppers.
