Birthing is like
squeezing a ripe strawberry
be struck by lightning
draw dizzying breath
and that shock of daylight
that never really subsides
and then
I am
here

- now what?  - 

dibble dabble in this and that
crushed crestfallen scat
tame the dog wild the cat
be the one you wish you had
to hold
be bold
be the story never told
and then 
I am
there

- now fucking what! - 

strip my mind
be in flow
get aligned
know its easy to be kind
ego checked and resigned
the miracle of surrender
to life
perpetually narrowing it down
to
limit the risk 
of
running into short cuts
because we all just wanna
take the long wynd home
